Delivering the sweets:)

Last week, I got the delivering order from my husband's friends!! 

It was amazing!  One big step!!

They requested me to bake some strawberry cakes and some others.

In Manila,there are some pastry shops that gives us strawberry cakes,but those are not the same as the one we eat in Japan..

Of course shops have their own tastes and all those are different  and shapes as well.

Anyway strawberry cakes..we call it “strawberry short cakes”..I don't know why it's called “short” cakes..it reminds us Japan.

Maybe because we are familier of this taste since we were children.

To be honest,I wanted to use strawberries from Baguio in the Philippines,but I couldn't get it this time.

So I used organic strawberries from the US.

Strawberries that I could get here are a bit sour.

                                   I know Japanese strawberries have amazing sweetness..

I made 3 kinds of sable,Madeleine,canele and raisin cream cookies:)

Those are all my favorite!!

🔻These are canele. For baking these,I used bee wax that I had bought at bee farm in Tagaytay.

The out side is crispy because of the bee wax and the inside is soft like french toast!

I made these by copper molds.

🔻These are cookies with rum raisin cream.

Almost all my friends say“Tasty!!” when they eat these. 

Not “My” favorite,but “Our” favorite!! Very popular sweets.

For the Sable,I made 3 kinds. Almond,Hezelnuts and Pili nuts!! 

Do you know Pili nuts?? When I first ate Pili nuts,I felt shock for this taste!

This is grown only in the Philippines!! only in the region Bicol.

This nuts contain much fat,so the texture is a bit soft like macadamian nuts.

but they contain less sugar and no cholesterol,so healthy nuts:)

Anyway I love Pili nuts!! 

I don't have pictures of Pili nuts,because I ate all:P..but it shaped like almonds..and longer than almonds. Please imagine:9haha.

My husband's friends were enjoying my sweets:) So I was Happy!!

Now I really want to have a tea party with my friends!!
