Choux a la Creme avec Craquelin
Last weekend,I made Cream Puffs:)
Recently,through Instagram,“Izumi style Cream Puff”was getting popular.
(Mr.Izumi is a pastry chef of a famous pastry shop in Japan!)
I was thinking that I made it,but unfortunately there was no Puff pastry dough at home
(of course there was a choice that I made by myself though..),
so I made with “Craquelin” which is a kind of cookie dough on top.
The out looking was getting to be very similar to Japanese bread named “Melon pan”.
Inside is diplomat cream:)
The combination of the bitter cacao choux dough and the sweet diplomat cream is good!!
I think.
