Farewell Mango Cake

One of my Japanese friends whom we have been friends since we had met in Indonesia,Jakarta.

She have also been living in the Philippines for her husband job.

She came here the Philippines before I came here.So I was relived when I came to the Philippines.

But this weekend,she and her families will go back to Japan. It happened suddenly. Sad..

So today was the last day to meet her in the Philippines.

I invited her to my house and had a tea together.

Her little cute daughter also came with her.

Before her husband company decided to make her families go back to Japan she had requested me to make a Mango cake for her daughter's birthday on 8th in July.

But the plan has gone! 

So I made mango cake for today!

I also made mango sorbet only from Mango!

No sugar added! It's already sweet and yummy:) Just make them frozen and scrape it!

On the top,I put some frozen raspberries and decorate with mint leaves.

I also made a tiny but a whole mango cake as a gift.

I just want to celebrate my friend's daughter's birthday and also say thank her to spend the time sometimes with me during staying in the Philippines!

I hope she would enjoy this cake with her husband:)

If it is not in the Philippines,I cannot use much mango like this!!😂

It is a kind of privilege to be able to eat many mangoes here! 

What a wonderful right we have! Cheers to the Philippines!! haha.

I wish it would be one of the memorable cakes for them..
